vacant tapes started in 2017 as a small collective in orlando, florida. we originally specialized in lo-fi hiphop beats and vaporwave, releasing collective tapes and helping small producers get onto major streaming platforms.
vacant tapes and our original members decided to disband in 2020 due to inactivity within the label and many of our members deciding to take a step away from music as a whole.

in 2024, vacant tapes is returning as a full-fledged record label, distributing to digital music platforms and physically through vinyl and CD worldwide.

our main goal is to make it as easy as possible for artists to get their music into the hands of listeners all over the globe. we offer many additional services to our artists, such as graphic design, mastering, multimedia production, and more!
